The Fibre Jet is a high-performance hydraulically powered optic fiber cable blowing machine that is one of the leading cable laying solutions in the market. It is designed for optical fiber cable installation of cable diameters ranging from 8mm – 27mm in ducts of diameters ranging from 20mm – 63mm. This fiber optic cable blower is powered by a hydraulic power pack that runs on an 8.5HP petrol engine. This allows the cable feeding unit to blow optic fiber cable to up to 2,200 Meters in one shot with pushing forces ranging from 0-650N. With air pressure up to 12 Bar and using a Pneumatic control valve, a recommended airflow rate of 400 CFM can be supplied through the duct allowing the fiber optic cable to float and move easily in the duct. Using a speed control valve it is possible to feed the cable through this blower machine with a speed best suited to the application, it can also achieve cable blowing speeds up to 100m/minute.
