Description
Sondes are battery-powered transmitters used to trace the path of both non-metallic and metallic pipes and ducts. A receiver in sonde mode tuned to the same frequency can locate the position and depth of to the sonde.

Note that sondes are only compatible with receivers that have matching sonde frequencies.
vLoc-9800 receiver is compatible with 9 kHz and 83 kHz Sondes.
vLocCam2 and VM-540 receiver are compatible with 512Hz, 640Hz, and 33 kHz Sondes.
vScan receiver is compatible with 33 kHz Sondes.
VM-810 receiver is compatible with 83 kHz Sondes.
VM-850 receiver is compatible with 9 kHz Sondes.
The Spar unit works only with sondes under 10kHz.
