Description
Split couplers are used to join two ducts during the optical fiber cable blowing operation. The forces used to blow cables could cause two coupled ducts to come apart if ordinary couplers are used to join them together. A split coupler gives a strong coupling joint that is capable of withstanding OFC blowing forces. It comes in two pieces and the ducts are placed in between them and fastened with nuts for tight coupling.
